G-SHOCK GA-110: 2010

Released in the early 2010s, the GA‑110 rejected digital minimalism with a bold, analog-digital design inspired by steampunk aesthetics. Its gear-like face and layered construction appealed to subcultures drawn to utility and contradiction—worn with techwear, favoured by industrial stylists, and elevated through G‑SHOCK’s 2014 collaboration with Maharishi.

Mechanical, maximalist, and future-facing, the GA‑110 became a symbol of design defiance in a touchscreen world.
