About Known Source

We run monthly pop-up events bringing together some of the best archive dealers and collectors in London, and we treat every piece with the care it deserves.

We're expanding into consignment with some very rare archival pieces, and this role supports the full operational cycle — from unpacking and inventorying stock through to selling it on the floor and listing it online.

The Role

Hands-on work with some truly incredible pieces. You'll be preparing stock, managing inventory on event days, supporting sales, and creating online listings from shoot content. It's physical, detail-oriented, and no two days look the same.

What you'll do:

Stock Preparation & Inventory — Full inventory of incoming stock. Steaming, recording item details, sizing, and condition. You'll be working on a mix of items, from streetwear to runway, so an eye for detail and a real appreciation for the product matters.

Event Day Operations — Inventory management and sales support at pop-ups at The Exchange. Knowing what's on the floor, keeping track of what's sold, and being comfortable talking to customers about the stock.

Price Tagging & Floor Prep — Tagging and preparing the sales floor in the week before each event. Everything needs to be presented to the standard the pieces deserve.

Online Listings — After each event and shoot, creating product listings using the photography and item data. Clean, accurate descriptions that reflect the quality of the stock.

What we're looking for

A genuine love of archive fashion and. This, and being meticulous, matters more than anything on a CV.

Ideal but not essential — sales experience (retail, market, pop-up, or online), stock management experience, familiarity with archive brands and their histories, or comfort writing product descriptions for an online audience.

You should be reliable, physically able to move stock and set up a sales floor, detail-oriented with sizes, conditions, and prices, confident speaking to customers including high-spend collectors, and happy working independently once briefed.

Commitment

This is not a fixed-hours role. Work is structured around the pop-up calendar, with days booked in advance. The role starts with a minimum of 3 days across April and May. You must be available on April 25th.

To Apply

Send a cover letter and CV to contact@knownsource.co.uk — tell us who you are, what stock you're into, and any relevant experience.
